I'm here to help with your character setup. You're a top-tier all-rounder, though your favorite roles are Spy and Pyro. After studying some comp games, you picked up Scout and Demo.
I play less often now, but when I do, I focus mainly on Soldier mode. Speed pogoing really impresses even the BFB Scouts if the setting is right. My go-to gear includes a default Rocket launcher, Gunboats, and Half-Zatoichi / Market gardener. You can spot it in my profile picture—it also displays the hat I mostly wear as Soldier. The least used classes are Pierow (Degreaser + Flare gun), Reserve shooter, and Axtinguisher combo. Engineer and Spy are my weak spots. Oh, and I think Spy is a flawed class: it’s either too similar to another character or just not meant to be played as Spy. It was supposed to be stealth-focused, but Dead Ringer ruined that completely.
Yesterday I achieved a 12-game winning streak with a pyro effect... JAYZUS
TF2 occasionally introduces minor updates, but the focus remains on cosmetic items like hats. New game modes, weapons, or maps are rare these days. Mostly just hats and crates.
I believe I've logged over 1100 hours in TF2. I consistently played the game every day for 2-3 years straight. I always choose the class that seems best for protecting my position, adjusting to changes on the map. Above all, I enjoy playing Engie. Defending entry points or gathering intel with my sentry is really enjoyable. I'm quite skilled and love managing spies who attempt to disrupt my sentry or Despenser. The main issue new players have with the Engie class is they're unaware that right-clicking while holding buildings lets you rotate them 90 degrees at a time before placing them. For a team, the worst scenario is an Engie building facing a wall and another player passing through it, causing confusion and disorientation for a few minutes.
