Top TF2 classes and their poll results are highlighted.
I've just started playing TF2 and I'm really enjoying the learning process, though I managed a 10-kill streak as a heavy and am a solid medic, so I think I'm quite capable for a newcomer. Here are my top nine classes in this order—I don’t really dislike any, but I think snipers and spies often hinder team progress. They show up too many times when the medic is missing, which really frustrates me... Alright here we go.
1. Pyro – This one’s simple to grasp and super effective. It’s not just about taking damage; I’ve built a solid plan and timing, and it’s been fun so far.
2. Demo-man – On my first day I was disappointed. It offered little value and demanded a lot of strategy I didn’t have. Now that I have a sword, head-and-charge becomes much more rewarding—this class could soon climb to the top.
3. Medic – I adore this role whenever I’m in it or when a good medic is present. There’s just so much support they provide for the team. I’m confident it’ll stay near the very top of my list as I improve.
4. Engineer – I haven’t played this much yet, but I really enjoy what he does. Building sentries and dispensers is crucial for winning, and I expect this class will rise in rank soon.
5. Heavy – Surprising me! After achieving a 10-kill streak with him, it’s clear he’s powerful. He’s great at taking down enemies, but he’s extremely vulnerable to snipers—only safe with a medic by my side.
6. Scout – He moves incredibly fast and is good at getting around quickly, especially when carrying briefcases. Attacking him is tough, but I think his speed gives him a strong edge. I believe this class will eventually move up on my list.
7. Soldier – The biggest obstacle for me is his poor accuracy with long-range fire. Shots take too long to hit, and opponents can easily dodge. I usually use him as a shield if I’m surrounded, knowing where to aim to maximize damage.
8. Sniper – I love using this role to sharpen my aiming skills and support others. However, spies are a constant distraction. They’re hard to deal with unless you have a good counter, and I don’t yet have a Razorback.
9. Spy – Honestly, I’m not great at this one. I tried but didn’t excel. It’s only useful if you’re skilled at surprise attacks and can take out sentries. I see my chances improving as I get better.
What do you all think? This is my perspective—feel free to share your own lists and give feedback!
Not played much lately, but Spy was my top pick since I enjoy getting to know people. My second option is the Heavy.
I rarely engage in that game, my usual choice is Spy. I tend to dislike the 'blending' and the more cautious speed of disguises in other titles. TF2 feels completely different—you can be just as bold as any other character if you master its mechanics.
It's not very enjoyable anymore. They haven't updated the game with any new features or scripts.
When issues aren't present, implement a new class to reach ten instances.
