I’d recommend going with Sony Vegas 12 or 13 or Adobe After Effects CC or CC 2014. Yes, you’re right—these programs are often offered for free, and there are many ways to access them without cost. If you want something simple to grasp, Sony Vegas 12 or 13 is a great choice. I personally use both Sony Vegas and After Effects, but Sony Vegas tends to be more straightforward.
