What are the most popular games of 2019 according to everyone? I’m looking for some insight and hoping someone can suggest my next title.
First on my list: #1 - Resident Evil 2 (remake).
#2 - Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice.
#3 - Devil May Cry 5.
Also worth mentioning: Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order. It might have been on my list, but I haven’t played it long enough to judge if it’s a strong game yet.

I haven't played a game this year since Witcher 3 and GTA V. Things have been pretty dull for a while.

I don't really have a top three, but
The Outer Worlds was a nice experience.

In my view, 2019 was an excellent year for video games. For fans of action, survival horror, or single-player experiences, I strongly suggest trying Resident Evil 2. They even offer a free demo that lets you play the game for 30 minutes to test it out before deciding to purchase.

Survival games aren't my favorite, but they've been popular in the industry for a while now, which means I haven't played any this year. I really dislike searching for items.

I wouldn’t describe it as “scavenging”.
In RE2, most items are located along the usual story path, so you discover them naturally rather than searching around.
Devil May Cry 5 is another solid title and doesn’t require scavenging for any items.
The same applies to Sekiro.

I agree...maybe getting older makes it tough to feel excited about new games when everything feels repetitive. I used to enjoy Madden but now I’m tired of every version being similar (and EA charging a lot for their updates). The Witcher 3 is still great...I’ve decided to play it again after finishing it about four years ago. Recently I’ve started playing VR games, but the only one I really like is Star Trek Bridge Crew. It doesn’t have top-notch graphics or gameplay, but I appreciate the teamwork. Elite Dangerous VR is also impressive, though it’s probably the most frustrating game I’ve ever tried to master.
