Nathan Drake stands out as a richer character in the series. The titles cover his early years, his mentor, and his team. Lara Croft seems to lack depth, offering no insight into her story.
You're right about Nathan Drake, but calling Croft just an empty shell might be too strong. While it was true for earlier titles, the newer ones, like Rise of the Tomb Raider, reveal more about her story and personality... Still, it's fair to say her character isn't as developed as Drake's.
I’d still prefer Tomb Raider to Uncharted, honestly. It didn’t really impress me at the time I got my PS3.
