It won't be a major issue as long as those four cores remain strong (meaning 4 cores with 4 threads). Some might be two cores with multiple threads.

No threads detected? You likely meant without hyper-threading, with two threads per core instead of one. Yes, a quad-core processor should work fine.

I believe you're referring to the i5 3570 (K) model. Yes, you won't experience a drop in FPS when playing BF4.
