My suggestion is to avoid choosing a 92mm fan CPU cooler, though this is my personal opinion.

I'm capable of running at 60fps. That's pretty cool. The difference between the 4790K and 4690K isn't really noticeable unless you're doing video editing or heavy rendering. Hyperthreading isn't essential for most users unless you work with CAD or similar tasks. Witcher would gain from it, but I don't have solid benchmarks to confirm. RAM needs are usually sufficient for everyday use—around 16GB works well, though more than that might be excessive for some.

Yes, it's possible to run The Witcher 3 with 60 FPS or higher using the 60FPS+ Ultra settings. There are also builds that achieve over 100 FPS for games.

Choose an SSD for programming—it significantly improves load and compile speeds. 980Ti offers better FPS performance and lower cost compared to 980.

My configuration handles ultra smooth performance at 30 fps. Occasionally reaches 40 fps. With a weak sauce version 960, a 980Ti suggests around 50 to 60 fps. It won't hit solid 60fps but will fluctuate between 50 and 60 fps. Ultra no Hairworks Core i7 4790K -65.0/84.4 Core i5 4690K –52.0/79.2 Core i3 4130 –38.0/68.9 G3258 at 4.5GHz OC –27.0/63.8 FX 8350 –56.0/75.2 FX 6300 –45.0/69.6

I optimized the game significantly for Witcher 3, achieving smooth 60fps+ performance at 1440p. Native Ultra reaches up to 90fps.

Secure your funds at the CPU, motherboard, and RAM. Proceed and allocate the protected cash toward a custom GTX980Ti.

At 1080p it should perform adequately, though the processor isn't essential.
