Just to note, there are no CPU cooler brackets attached; the CPU sits directly on top. After confirming the pins are correct, if the CPU LED turns on, it indicates a problem. The concern is whether the CPU was the root cause that damaged another component or vice versa. However, this remains uncertain—only the fact that the CPU isn’t functioning on this board confirms it’s faulty.
I rearranged the CPU carefully, making sure all pins were straight and didn’t force the cooler in. Placed only one stick or RAM in the nearest slot next to the CPU. The seller asked if they could replace it.
