I attempted to push my Ryzen 5 2600 overclocked, but I’m struggling to hit 3750MHz on all cores. The best I’ve managed is almost finishing a Cinebench R20 test before the display goes dark. Anyone else experienced this issue or is there something I’m missing? My setup includes the R5 2600, GTX 1660 Super cooler, and ASUS TUF B450 CPU with CX450 PSU, but I’m not reaching the full potential of 16GB Crucial 3200MHz.

Using a 450W power supply with a peak rating of 450W makes sense. I believe it’s a good idea to get another PSU and test it out.

This suggests the overclock isn't stable due to pushing the CPU beyond safe limits, especially at 150MHz. You're likely misunderstanding the signs—screen going black usually means instability, not just low power. Since you're new, this could be a common misconception.

It might reduce performance, but stopping at thermtrip would bring the temperature down to around 110°C based on the board. The CPU automatically adjusts its speed. If you reset the CMOS and retest, monitor the temperatures closely.
