This PC can handle modern games at high frame rates? I'm just starting out with building a system and want to know if it's enough. Also, what upgrades would be needed to ensure smooth performance? Are there any compatibility problems I should be aware of? Thanks!

Supporting resolutions include 1080p and 1440p. For parts, PCPartPicker is a good option.

Not just 1440p at 60 frames per second, or even just on average. Mostly it works fine for the games.

The 780TI doesn't always reach its full potential in every game at 1080p resolution. At 1440p, it seems the Ultra setting wasn't activated as described.

Metro Last Light meets a heavily altered Skyrim, with most elements remaining intact otherwise.

I was considering stock games instead of mods. Metro: Last Light had me reviewing benchmarks, and the 7990 performs well on that title, even under heavy load. Grab a 7990 for around £350, cool it down, and you’ve got a powerful GPU.

If you used 2-way SLI with the GTX780 Ti, it might handle modern games at around 60 FPS, depending on the game and settings.

You're asking about the impact of using AA (AAA) cards versus AA (AAA) cards on performance, specifically mentioning potential drops in FPS and the cost of graphics cards.

I won't be using AA, and by ultra I mean all settings at maximum except for a few.
