No error lights with no ram does sound like a bad motherboard. I'm curious what they have the piece of tape and arrow pointing at. Just to the right of the upper PCIE mount. About the only other thing I could suggest is to make sure it's a 4+4 CPU power in your 8 pin and not 6+2 PCIE. They're different with what wires are power and ground, but the PCIE power "could" be put in if someone wasn't paying enough attention. Spoiler
I also watched that tape earlier, but I didn’t give it much thought until now. The Corsair HX 1000 only came with two 8-core CPUs, not a 4+4 configuration.
It’s best suited only for advanced overclocking. It might be worth trying one more run using the 4-pin version connected. I’d consider swapping the motherboard anyway. Even if power isn’t sufficient, the CPU debug light should illuminate.
yeah you only need that much for hard core OC but I try it, but yeah I will give them a call about it on monday, for they dont have open over the weekend. This is just so sad I was so happend to use a real pc again after be using my laptop for a few weeks now. But I will give you a follow up then I know what it is. I im very curious myself and I spent alot time today to try to find out what was wrong too.
