A Ryzen 7 5700X3D on an A320M Mobo seems possible. Many people suggested the 5700X3D, but others advised sticking with your current setup. Sorry about the mix-up. I played CS2 and noticed it ran slower after installing my new RX 6800. The forum comment mentioned that issue, but I can't share a photo since my PC lighting isn’t on and my motherboard looks fine with good airflow.

Even with added insulation, the VRM and board layout aren’t strong enough to support many chips simultaneously, which can cause performance drops under stress. With fewer VRM MOSFETs available, each one bears more load instead of being shared across a larger setup, making it harder for them to manage heat and maintain efficiency. Compared to the board in question, each MOSFET would run hotter. The user also mentioned a preference for using the chip’s built-in GPU, which would further strain the VRM since all power comes from a single source. For how long? Anything can probrably run at it's max load state or even higher for a short time like PSU's can and survive but you also can't say for how long before things go the wrong way. That's my point over it. I have one of those A320 board's (Gigabyte) and it's nothing I'd really trust running in a typical gaming rig - For daily use and so on it's fine for that paired with a lower wattage chip but not for a gaming rig running a larger cored/wattage chip. And that's the end of it for me. Gonna have to leave it up to the OP from here.

To that end, this is an example of what I've done before so you'll know I at least have an idea about it: Bones`s SuperPi - 1M score: 9sec 141ms with a FX-8320 Nothing wrong with expressing a bit of caution, I'm not one to cast all caution to the wind and I'm wanting to give an answer that I know will work. My goal is to suggest something that's going to work and I mean over time, not for it to fall over within a few months after it's built because not everyone has the budget to rebuild it when things go wrong, I certainly can't speak for the OP to that end and yes, I've been there before myself. I'll admit I might be a little TOO concerned here but that's better than saying "Screw it - Just do it" and letting the OP deal afterwards... However it goes, good or bad.
