I'm preparing a Ryzen 9 build inside an NZXT H1. I'm thinking of buying two M.2 SSDs to match. With only two 2.5" bays in the H1 and no Ryzen Mini-ITX with more than two M.2 slots, I've opted for larger drives. They don't include heatsinks. On most Mini-ITX boards I've seen, one M.2 is front-mounted and another back, but in the H1 the rear drive is very close to the graphics card. For a 2080ti setup, I'm concerned about overheating or high temperatures. Have you heard of Mini-ITX Ryzen boards with both M.2 slots on top? Also, would you suggest choosing a case like the Phanteks Evolv Shift X instead of the H1? I'm aiming for a vertical ITX design that fits snugly but still reaches higher. I want a PC with a 3950x, 2080ti OC, and 32 GB of 3600mhz CL16 RAM without taking up too much space. The Shift X offers a bigger radiator but is taller and uses more desk area. Will the 140mm radiator on the H1 work with my 3950x? I won't be overclocking, so what's the best choice? Let me know!
There won't be any such thing, just not enough room. You'll have a maximum of one M.2 slot available.
I've never encountered a mini ITX motherboard featuring two M.2 slots at the top... not sure how they'd be arranged. On my personal build, I prioritize ample airflow around the board and GPU, and it performs excellently. Using an SSD usually helps keep things cooler.

For a 3950X I’d consider the Strix X570-I. Others noted it has only one M.2 port on the front and another on the back. The included 140mm AIO should handle the cooling for the 3950X, though it won’t provide much room for aggressive overclocking.
