Certainly, unless I'm mistaken, it's best to manage the warranty directly with the seller first. Here, Amazon is the example.

Tip: When returning on Amazon, don't immediately contact chat support. Look for the "return or replace items" option on the order details page—it’s usually automatic, so you won’t need to wait. Clicking it lets you choose a full refund or a replacement. I recommend replacing the item since they’ll send you a brand new one right away for free and give you 15 to 30 days to return the defective one. Make sure to send it back promptly; otherwise they’ll charge you for the replacement. Some options let you drop off without labels or packaging, or with pre-packaged items.

Most often, going straight to chat can make them seem like there’s only one choice, but sometimes they offer better solutions or extra help if you’re just slightly over the return window. For the most flexibility, use the automated return/replace system instead.

That’s a joke—selling these items for 900 euros without testing could mean they’re not working properly, and it’ll take a month before I can get a replacement.

I received it just yesterday and ended up in the automated system. There was no chance to return it, so I had to choose between an Amazon credit or a full refund to my original payment method. I need to print a shipping label and send it myself at my own expense. They might offer me up to 11 euros back for shipping costs, especially since a delivery van passes by my house twice a week—it would be beneficial for them to pick it up.

Also, were you checking for a driver or OS problem? Did you update the NVidia driver after putting in the card?

I started the system in Linux, replaced the driver, and reinstalled it, but my previous 1070 remains functional.

The issue seems to be with the GPU on the VGA step. Likely a DOA situation. Submit a return and retry.

Resolved finally – Amazon issued a refund. I’m opting for a fresh power supply to ensure reliability; my previous unit is nearing the end of its warranty and only provides 750W, which barely covers the 4070ti super. I ordered a Zotac 4080 Super and a Cooler Master MWE Gold 1250W V2 ATX 3.0 Fully Modular PSU (the 1000W model was too pricey). I’ll continue using my Zotac Amp Extreme edition gtx1070 for now.
