I experience no stuttering during cutscenes and there are no issues. Are you using V-sync? I really appreciate how well the cutscenes are rendered!
I don't really understand why, but I feel the same about your feelings. Almost every port always has this fps issue, tearing in videos, a lot of frustration again. This is mostly pre-rendered CGI, just like FMV—even games such as XCOM faced similar problems for every scene. Preloading with FMV usually results in videos with the *.bik extension. Blizzard did it right. I agree that every switch between gameplay and cut-scenes looks perfect, and this has been true since the first Warcraft II (as far as I recall, Warcraft didn't have cut-scene videos).
Just to ensure the ini file was updated for 60 fps, correct? Before setting it to 60fps they were choppy, but now everything runs smoothly.
What are you referring to? This game looks really good, I had to check myself several times to make sure I wasn't still sleeping.
I think its an awesomely put together game and give it 10/10, you're crazy if you think it needs to be crucified
60 hours in, no problems. Could it be your computer? Or are there hidden objects along the way?
The latest update 1.08 resolved the stuttering problems for me in Novigrad!
