Constructed a PC using a 5700x3d b550 tomahawk and 3600cl14 RAM. Only posted regarding the RAM slots A1 and A2. Tested each slot individually, but no B channel boots occurred. Updated the BIOS without issues, and confirmed no bent pins were present. After assembling, disassembled the unit and returned the motherboard to obtain a replacement. Noted a discussion about the 5700x3d having a faulty memory controller. I also own a 5700x non-3d model that functioned in an earlier system with that RAM.

It seems like this could refer to a problematic memory controller channel.

I've received the second 5700x3d file, and both versions encountered the same problem. Maybe I should try using my 5700x non-3d with OCR instead.

Execute the RAM using its standard (non-XMP / DOCP) configuration. Verify if it starts up successfully with slot B2 active.

Did you clear the CMOS? To verify, you mentioned having two X3Ds and two mobos, and the problem continues with them? Please send them back for RMA.
