2.5GHz Intel Core i5 with 4GB RAM at 1600MHz DDR3 and Intel HD Graphics 4000 1536MB could handle many titles, including CS:GO and League of Legends on a mid-range setup.

The CPU and RAM are adequate, but the graphics require attention. The games will function, though you won’t enjoy them fully.

It will operate, but performance will be similar to low settings around 30 frames per second. Upgrading to a model like the RX460 would be recommended.

I've been playing Mists of Pandaria on a 7870k APU with maximum settings, making an R7 250 a solid choice for beginners.

Displays graphics on a RX 460 for a basic gaming setup. Legion can be limited by CPU performance. My GPU (HD 6870) should handle mid to low settings at 1080p if the CPU provides enough power. Without the GUI, I can maintain around 120 fps with few players and NPCs nearby. However, when things become busy—like in intense scenes such as the dalaran underbelly—I drop to just 5 fps regardless of settings or resolution.

Is this a joke? WoW works with almost any device. It’s confirmed to run smoothly on HD4000.

It seems quite challenging to run the game smoothly now. Back then I managed WoW on integrated G41 at 800x600 with about 15 frames per second. Since then the graphics have evolved, yet performance hasn't improved much. Check out YouTube—there are many recent uploads showing WoW running on Intel HD 4000 and even HD 2500. It looks like you might not have pushed your system enough, or your needs for a playable experience were too demanding. In terms of visuals, the HD 4000 can handle the game, but the main issue is likely when attempting raids, as they tend to strain most hardware.

HD4600 delivers 20 frames per second at 1080p resolution. HD3000 provides 10 fps when running at 768p.
