The used market could be a viable choice. First generation Ryzen chips are readily available under $100, and you might find a 1400 for around $70. B365 offers the most reliable compatible chipset for the 9th generation. Due to the 14nm shortage last year, 300-series boards are scarce, making H310, B360, H370, or Z370 models with updated BIOS hard to source.

Wow, thanks a lot! I’ll check if they match my budget and if it’s about 700 in my area.

And hey! If you're looking for a setup with a slightly slower SSD and HDD, plus a budget motherboard, you might fit the 5600 XT there (RX 2060 works well): PCPartPicker lists it. The CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 1600 at 3.2 GHz with 6 cores for about $90. The motherboard is MSI B450-A PRO MAX ATX AM4 for $99.99. You could also add 16 GB DDR4-3200 memory from Newegg for $69.99, a 500 GB M.2 SSD from Adorama for $68.95, and the RX 5600 XT graphics card for $259.99. The case is NZXT H510 ATX mid-tower at $69.99, and the power supply is Corsair CX 550W with 80+ Bronze certification for $74.98. All prices are shown before shipping rebates.
