Based on what you're looking for, it seems you're evaluating options around the B450 chipset. If it isn't a 3200G, you're likely considering an Intel CPU—specifically a 9100F which should outperform the 3200G in single-threaded tasks. The H310 appears to be a more modest option compared to the 9100F. You mentioned wanting an M.2 slot and dual-channel support, so those features are important for you.

Choose Ryzen 5 1600 AF instead. It performs significantly better than the alternatives. Pair it with a B450 board for optimal results.

This purchase is a financial loss. Avoid paying too much for an upgraded i5 model.

I really can't seem to locate anything older than that, everyone seems focused on Gen Z or CoFELAKE for Intel.

That's why I'm really cautious about thinking about getting an i3.

Ryzen 5 1600 AF performs similarly to Ryzen 5 2600, while the Ryzen 3 3200G offers superior performance.

If I manage to locate one, I'll purchase it, but most of the time I realize this isn't a great offer. I'll have to choose between a 3200G or a 9100F since the shop only carries new models and throws away older ones. I know it's not ideal.

Which nation are you from? What is the cost of your computer? Do you already have any components?

I’m sticking to a budget around $700. I’m planning on an 1650 Super SC Ultra and the CPU is still in the decision phase. The shop I’m considering is local, which is good since prices are near the manufacturer’s suggested price and everything here is fairly affordable compared to what I see elsewhere.
