It might still work with a VPN to bypass regional restrictions.
I haven't discovered any MMO that I like; perhaps I simply don't enjoy the genre.
Completely unrelated as I have no MMO experience. That character creation, daaaaaamn, Sim's 4 character creation just got owned lol. And that hair, holy crap that hair.
You might enjoy offline RPGs like Dragon Age—it's a great title. The only MMOs I've spent a lot of time on are Aion.
I'm excited about Black Desert coming out so I can invest time creating a great character. But whether the gameplay is solid or not will depend on other factors, especially since it's an action-based MMORPG. In Australia, I'd likely face heavy server activity—around 200-300 pings on average, possibly up to 400ms in the worst case. PvP probably won't be my focus at the moment.
I understand you're frustrated. I spent a lot of time on Tera and then stopped, while I invested more time in Neverwinter, which felt overwhelming.
