Absolutely, I understand. I tend to dive right in before considering a controller.
Monitoring the game closely, I’m holding off on buying on launch day or pre-ordering. My strategy is to wait for reviews and gameplay clips from others. I also tend to hold off unless the game aligns well with the Cyberpunk tabletop lore; then I might pick it up months later during a sale.
Mike Pondsmith approve it. So there is no Reason to doubt that part in any way.
I understand they gave their approval. I’ll keep expecting real game clips and critiques to assess how the developers incorporate the game’s lore.
It's not them drawing it. Pondsmith was a part of the process the whole time. Skip to 5:30 for the actual thing. Sure, it's not gonna be a carbon copy of CP2020, it's CP2077, a next iteration on it, I would say. Am I waiting for the game? Ever since that video come out: And in the matter of the release day game quality? They haven't postponed the release date for nothing. And in game dev industry such move costs A LOT of money. But I will admit one thing. From the trailers I've seen the gameplay, especially shooting/gunplay looks just kinda ok, I guess. Luckily I'm not that interested in this aspect but rather in atmosphere and portrayal of the world as well as storytelling, so hopefully they will deliver in those areas. And that I can't judge without experiencing it myself, so sure as hell I will play the heck out of it.
