The system starts fast, yet it takes time to launch applications.
It's quite unusual how these applications take so long to load—often not until 45 seconds. The progress bar at the bottom right remains blank until then, and even after clicking the start menu, nothing happens until about that time. Last week I could open it immediately, and once it was running, Skype and Steam would launch instantly. This behavior is really odd. Additionally, disabling Skype prevents it from launching on startup, but once it boots, it works perfectly.
I'm not sure and I doubt others will reply; consider checking the Microsoft forums.
