Check your RAM settings carefully. Sometimes the default speed shown by MemTest isn't the actual speed you get in real use. Make sure your BIOS is set to support 3200MHz and that your motherboard supports it. Also, ensure the RAM sticks are properly seated and not overclocked beyond what they’re rated for. If you're using a different memory type, verify compatibility.

Ensure XMP is activated and verify its value exceeds the default settings.

it is active yet the bios indicates it's enabled when you check the two speed clocks—left shows current speed, right shows selected. When saving or exiting, does it enter a loop and eventually start again? Usually resets after saving if the setting fails. Your xmp profile might be incorrect; you may need to adjust it manually. This is common; some suppliers list wrong voltage specs. Try setting it without changing voltage first, enable XMP, then test RAM speeds via stress tests until stability appears. If that doesn't work, consider adding a small extra voltage but be careful—excess can damage the chip before the RAM. Researching the exact requirements of the chip and its power limits is highly advised before making changes.

I’ll try, I also discovered my bios is quite outdated. I plan to update it soon—my current version is f6, while the latest is f51d, which might help. As for setting the speed manually, let me know and I’ll walk you through it.

Speccy hasn't seen any changes recently, and I think it's unrelated to the issue at hand

Click on auto and pick your speed there. Be sure to adjust slowly—you can move directly to 3200, but be careful as it might fail. Run long stress tests; one hour should be enough.

Check the exact model number and consult the latest documentation. Updating to a specific revision like F51D may be necessary, but it's best to follow official guidelines rather than jumping between versions without confirmation.

You're selecting auto mode but it's not responding.

The latest supported release is designed to work with older CPUs as well.
