The Samsung Magician app isn't detecting your 990 Pro SSD?
I connected it to the slot on the graphics card, which has a heatsink, and the motherboard also has its own heatsink.
Checked online suggestions and updated the BIOS today, hoping that would help.
Acknowledged. The earlier picture also displays the same area. Refer to my prior advice to reinitialize the BIOS to the standard settings for further assistance.
The instructions are available in your motherboard user manual.
Another approach involves:
1. Disconnect all power connections (power cable, video cable, and powered speakers, etc.).
2. Remove the motherboard battery.
3. Press the power button to remove any remaining power from the system components.
4. Allow at least a minute for the discharge process.
5. Reinsert the battery and reconnect the previously removed connections.
6. Turn on the system, which should now operate in default settings.
I reinitialized the BIOS, took out the battery, and let it rest for roughly 30 minutes, possibly longer. I also pressed and held the power button on the case, or released it, but the issue persisted. The system still displays "non-Samsung."
I experienced a similar problem recently when my Samsung drives failed to recognize after a BIOS update. The issue stemmed from a BIOS setting that changed during the update. Although the drives were detected in the BIOS, Samsung was unable to identify them. If both BIOS and Windows are functioning correctly, avoid moving the hardware.
