You can reduce the issue by ensuring all client computers support jumbo frames. This problem may worsen when jumbo-frame enabled devices interact with non-jumbo-frame ones. Consider disabling jumbo frames on every connected machine.

you'd likely find them on a smartphone-based network or platform, with one additional PC connected as a secondary device.

Turning off jumbo-frames seems to be the best option.

You might reach out to their tech support, but I’m unsure if they can assist with this issue. You’d probably need to analyze the protocol to identify the problem’s source. Consider sourcing a router from a retailer with a solid return policy to test if it resolves the matter. If not, consider returning the device. Alternatively, using an older PC could let you build a PFSense router for minimal cost, giving you full control over its functions.

The manufacturer only specifies a 1 Gig connection. No cable provider can deliver 1 Gbps over that device. To achieve a Gigabit speed via cable internet, you must use a DOCSIS 3.1 modem. That explains the problem.
