I was worried about spending hours grinding, but honestly the most costly ship is 14,000 REC—you could build it in just over two and a quarter of Vanduul Swarm games. That’s a solid boost for Star Citizen, in my view. Did anyone else get a chance to try it?
I upgraded my loaner hornet with all the features, but I still don’t get why folks say it’s not powerful enough. I didn’t feel as strong as the super hornet, and things were really rough.
Well, three times larger weapons might not seem impressive, but you can really take them to the next level. Only the Cutlass fits comfortably, while the Hornet offers great mobility. The Hornet isn't weak; in fact, the Super Hornet is overpowered thanks to its turret. You could also save money and resources by opting for a size 3 gimbal instead of the nose turret. I’d love to see a size 4 gimbal so the Mantis can be mounted on the wings again. Hopefully, when AC 2.0 arrives, bigger guns and mounts will make the Hornets even more effective.
They must adjust the smaller vessels in some way; it’s best not to get caught in the middle of the battle, since your Mustang won’t keep up with a Hornet. Meanwhile, the M50—likely the fastest ship—is safe once the fight ends.
Regarding speed, I believe the Cutlass should have an additional 20 max speed, reaching up to 200. As long as it's empty.
I believe the changes should be minimal while moving. Aurora needs a 20 boost, mostly due to hauling loads. Mustang should see a 5/10 rise. Every ship must gain 50, though reaching peak speed is slower during the process. It’s not ideal but it would add more excitement
