It's improbable MSI Afterburner will render the maximum clock accurately for viewing, though the hwmonitor column may indicate it.
I rarely examine the hardware monitor, but when I do, I always verify the max value. It never exceeds 5.5.
hwmonitor results are not accurate. Consider using hwinfo64 instead.
