I noticed this CPU is supposed to reach up to 5.7 GHz, but it's only hit 5.5 so far. I've tried running the default BIOS settings for a while, except for the built-in RAM overclock. After adjusting the BIOS, voltages and temperatures have been fine-tuned. Many users face issues staying at 5.5, yet no clear fix has emerged. Anyone have ideas or solutions?

Have you attempted enabling PBO? (No undervolts required, though PBO is enabled by default)

You're working with a workload that sees performance improvements capped at 5.7 under typical conditions, except for AVX which limits it to 4 threads. Running HWINFO alongside can affect these numbers.

I haven't done it yet. I'm looking forward to trying it soon.

I'm using a microphone to capture and measure the sound.

Idle clocks need to align more closely with 5.2.

It should operate at a significantly reduced speed when idle. The purpose of a CPU that increases turbo only when needed is to save power and improve efficiency. Running it at high speed unnecessarily wastes energy.

You're running MSI Afterburner to set up a persistent display in your taskbar, and you're also verifying it through the hardware monitor.

I'm not entirely clear on how to put this into words.
