It looks like you chose the most affordable option, which isn't always the best choice. In general, upgrading a bit can provide significantly more value for your budget. You're lucky to be in Belgium, though the infrastructure isn't very strong. Check out these plans from the two main ISPs: [Proximus](https://www.proximus.be/en/id_cr_int/per...tions.html) and [Telenet](https://www2.telenet.be/nl/producten/int...nnementen/). There are also a few virtual ISPs, but they don't offer much improvement.

What area or city are you in? Xfinity serves many locations, so a bit more info can be useful. Just keep your full address private.

Regarding your question: You subscribe to internet service on a monthly basis, and most providers include a modem. Some offer it free of charge, while others require you to purchase it separately each month. Others let you buy your own modem and avoid recurring fees.

In some European regions, especially northern ones like Sweden, it's available. Elsewhere, it's not. I'm currently paying 65€ for a 100/20mbps connection in Germany, and we just got the upgrade last year. Previously, I only had 2/0.2mbps.

In Eastern Europe you can achieve 1Gb/s for just 20 euros. The price depends on the nation and its network setup.

Professional networking is the foundation. Just a few opportunities to secure deals.

What are you asking? 20€ for 1Gb/s? That’s a lot less than my usual 49€ for TV. 1Gbps and a basic phone plan used to be great value.
