Your ideal choice is between $799 and $599. Which one feels best for you?

I’d consider it at $200, add it to my wish list. At $100 I’d purchase right away. My monitor isn’t faulty, so VR might just be a novelty. Better go for 1440p ultra wide instead.

It's less about cost and more about quality for me. I purchased the Oculus Rift DK2 for roughly £600, primarily to get a feel for its capabilities. Although impressive, it wasn't fully polished yet. I anticipate a similar path with other consumer headsets. Perhaps I'll consider buying one in a few years.

Based on the situation I might choose it for around £200 to £300.

I see what you mean. It’s really interesting. Changing from a high-resolution 4K screen to something with fewer pixels can be tricky because of how sensitive I am to aliasing and detail.

You seem confused, but if I were forced, I’d say the limit is around 300 pounds.
