I received the pc about a week back. Was it assembled yourself or purchased ready-made? If it was ready-made, the creator should be handling the repairs.

Sorry for the unclear explanation, I currently have a 3200g and will switch to a 3600. Even with 3200g/r5 3600, the wattage should be about 300w, so I've chosen to replace the power supply.

If I remember the Corsair vs series is a budget PSU line, then it's possible your system might draw more power than the PSU can handle, causing it to shut down.

If I have to estimate, and considering Furmark also causes the same issue (just quicker), I'd say it's likely a PSU or GPU problem.

It's not about the power rating, it's about the build quality. Even a decent 450w model works fine. The Corsair VS550 is a low-end, group-regulated device. For your setup I suggest a Tier B unit.

I wasn’t implying your GPU was the issue. I’d lean more toward the power supply. What I intended was that as your GPU becomes more active, it might need more power from your power supply, which could fail to provide enough over time, possibly causing it to shut down. I still support the other users’ advice—consider upgrading to a higher-quality power supply with greater wattage if possible. Starting with a reliable one is wise.
