The video demonstrates a shutdown scenario. I believe it's unrelated to temperature problems, as I immediately restart the PC after turning it back on. The issue arises in games with high graphical demands, such as Legend of Heroes Daybreak 1. My system specifications are: MSI B450M PRO-VDH MAX, AMD Ryzen 5 5500, XFX RX6600XT, Corsair CX650M, 16GB RAM. The shutdowns began after my recent two-week absence from the PC, which hasn't been used in nearly a year. To fix it, I considered lowering game resolutions and using windowed mode. I've tried several solutions: reseating the GPU, swapping RAM, changing the GPU PCIe port on the power supply, updating BIOS and drivers, and replacing the PSU with a Corsair RM750e 2025 edition. None of these steps resolved the problem. I reviewed the event viewer logs, and the only relevant entry was systemLog 6008, indicating an unexpected shutdown. The crash did not produce a minidump file, and the advanced settings option was enabled. I also performed an OCCT Power test lasting 15 minutes without triggering a shutdown, and no errors were found. I've attached a link with all logs recorded today on the event viewer.

Hello!
Did you connect the cables from the new PSU during installation, or were they used for the CX? Also, what operating system is running on the machine?

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!
Provide the specifications of your case. Share the temperatures for your GPU and CPU under both idle and load conditions. Also, note the ambient air temperature in the room. For your CPU cooler, please mention its make and model.
Regarding BIOS updates, kindly include the current version for your motherboard.
And let me know which other operating system titles you've used to run the system.

I connected the cables from the new PSU. The BIOS is version 7A38vBO, released on 2025-09-11. The BIOS is version 7A38vBO, released on 2025-09-11. I updated the GPU driver using the AMD Adrenalin app. The CPU and GPU stayed under 40°C at idle and reached up to 60°C during load. The system model is GALAX Revolution 05 and the cooler is Aigo ICE400SE.

At least some stress-test programs allow you to select which components—CPU, GPU, or RAM—or all of them—to test. Consider trying various programs and keep an eye on the temperatures. Experiment with a few, and share your results.

Have you reset the CMOS after the newest update? If not, please do so to eliminate any potential bios problems.

This kind of shutdown usually indicates either a overheating CPU or a failing power supply with protection mechanisms activating.

It might work, but considering it's a new PSU and it's good enough, it probably isn't. If the original poster had kept using the CX, I'd be fully in agreement.

OCCT tests duration is 15 minutes with temperatures in Celsius.
CPU and RAM show no issues; max CPU temperature reached 73.8°C and 87°C respectively.
RAM with XMP settings recorded 542 errors with a peak of 63°C, while standard RAM had 62°C max.
3D adaptive performance is stable with no errors and a GPU temperature of 77°C.
VRAM testing also passed without errors, reaching a maximum of 62°C.

I removed the battery, waited a few minutes, then reinserted it and restarted the game. The computer stopped working shortly after. To be clear, each shutdown requires no special steps—just turning off and on the power source—as if it were a regular shutdown. When I press the power button, it starts up normally.
