anyone know how to fix it? maybe its because its old its around 4y now and if i turn it on and shut it down i need to wait 30mins and a few press on the power button to drain it (without cmos battery ofc) but restart works fine any fix for this? Fixes I already tried: Resetting bios reinstalling windows cleaning all of pc i tried 1 stick of ram on the 1st and 2nd slot and tried my 2nd stick still like that I tested my psu into my brothers pc and its working i tried to turn it on and shut down 3 times and worked so problem is not the psu and ram tested my ssd into my brothers pc worked like a charm so not ssd fault cant be the cpu since idk theyre more durable than mobos i think
The capacitors will remain cylindrical even if damaged. Look for a bulge at the top that signals an issue. A new 4-year-old computer should generally be fine, but problems can arise. Capacitors aren’t meant to be taken out easily—they require unsoldering before removal. Do you know how to work with a soldering iron? Do you have one? Have you got a multimeter? What brand and model are they? Which operating system is it using?
Quite sure this is a PSU issue. Does the mobo power speakers when off? If so, keeping the speakers ON can help next time you boot the pc. This is just a temporary fix though, you need to replace the PSU. If it doesn't power-charge through usb or jack when off, I am sure there are relevant settings in bios.
I don’t have much experience with capacitors, but none of them look swollen. I’m not sure how to use a soldering iron since I’m only 14. What do you mean by DVM? I don’t think I own a capacitor meter. My motherboard is a Gigabyte G2A68H S1 and I’m running Windows 10 21H1. I’ve tried other versions too—8.1 and 7—but the issues still happen. I didn’t mention that this motherboard has been used for about three years by my cousin Pisonet, who runs an internet cafe. It’s a cheap one, around 20 cents per hour.

Use sleep or hibernate during the day, or keep it idle and power down just before bedtime.
I learned about soldering when I was younger than you. The power supply seems to be where faulty capacitors are often found. But this means taking apart the computer and removing the power supply cover. At your age I was making valve radios, but I think you probably don’t have the tools or setup. A DVM is a digital voltmeter, sometimes called a DMM, which is a digital multimeter.
