The PC fails to recognize XMP profiles.
i added some background to my story. i purchased pc components, but they never showed up except the gpu. in january i bought a basic temporary setup until my real parts came (intel i5 7600k, 16gb gskill trident ram, plus my 2080 super). just yesterday my components finally arrived. i assembled the system today and it started working fine. the first problem was that drives weren’t showing up. i solved it by swapping the sata cables into a different port, restarted the pc, and put it into bios – it booted normally. now the drives are visible, but my internet drops randomly for about half a second. discord would cut me off mid-call, and any streams would crash. i turned it off, reset xmp profiles, and played for four hours without issues. though, my ram isn’t running at its advertised speed. i’m hoping someone can help fix the streaming glitches and the intermittent internet drop. i haven’t had internet cuts yet, but when i tried battlefield 4 it keeps crashing. there’s only a blue screen error sometimes – i don’t remember what it said. my specs are: b450 tomahawk max, ryan zeon 3700x, 2080 super, 32gb ram (16gb corsair vengeance, 16gb gskill). i’m still experiencing the same issues with each ram setup. i tried editing the settings but within a minute the problem appeared again. i’ve attached a screenshot for reference.
Here are the detailed specifications for each item:
- Full spec sheet available upon request (part numbers provided).
- Key details include: voltage range, current capacity, dimensions, weight, and material composition.
You attempted each kit individually, but the issue remained. Please confirm: did you run the XMP profile using only one kit in the designated slots (A2 and B2) on your motherboard manual, or was it using both? Additionally, were you installing Windows fresh on the new PC, or did you simply transfer the drive and kept using a Windows installation from the "interim PC"?
Certainly, could you restate your request in simpler terms? I'm here to ensure clarity.
