I've been facing this unusual issue for about two weeks now. The Steam client won't load any pages—chat, login, and games are fine, but I can't access anything else. The same problem occurs with my web browser when using Steam Community sites and the store. I've tried clearing Steam's cache folders and switching to a different internet connection, but it hasn't helped. I reached out to Steam support, and after sharing a network FAQ link, they haven't replied. Anyone have any suggestions or possible causes?

Unfortunately, reinstalling didn't resolve the issue.

This didn't fix the problem, but now when I attempt to open the store, loading halts almost immediately. No warnings appear. Occasionally, trying to reach steamcommunity sites via browser reveals a SSL warning or just displays an empty page upon clicking the link. EDIT: I also question why updates function properly even though other pages remain inaccessible.

I noticed this problem only recently. Whenever it occurs, I switch to using Steam in the browser. I plan to install a stable client and delete my theme.

Restart steam and attempt again without your theme. I was using metro for steam and it caused the same issue.

I used the beta method but the same issue occurred without any content displayed. There are no themes set up either. I can't load any Steam sites through my browser because they don't open. When I click a link to a Steam community site, Chrome stops almost immediately and shows a blank page. Sometimes clicking a link to a Steam community triggers an SSL warning. Recently, after booting into safe mode with internet, Chrome loaded a Steam site but then rejected the connection. However, when I ping Steam from the command prompt, it works fine. It's quite strange.
