I tried again...still the same issue...even with just one stick, I reinstalled the drivers. Not sure what's causing the problem. Drivers shouldn't be an issue. If you're sure both are in the right slots, you probably have some faulty DIMMs. The Ryzen2k should definitely work with DDR4 2400 at 2400 MHz, and even the Ryzen1k would function on the earliest BIOS versions. I hope you got it from a supplier offering a good return policy, so I'd consider trying a different kit. If possible, a 2933 or 3000 model would be better since Ryzen APUs prefer faster memory and support those speeds.
Drea.drechsler shared their experience, mentioning they still faced issues despite trying various solutions. They suggested checking if the drivers are correct and noted that Ryzen2k should work with DDR4 2400 at 2400 MHz, even older BIOS versions. They recommended sourcing from a supplier with a solid return policy and considered trying a 2933 or 3000 kit since Ryzen APUs support faster memory. The person finally succeeded by adjusting VRAM settings and timings, though they experienced problems when reverting to 1GB.
