They should provide an equivalent or improved option if your specific SKU isn’t available (or a replacement). I’ve often preferred Seagate products, as they’ve performed well in my experience, but most people will share their negative experiences with various drive brands because hard drives are among the more delicate parts.

I mentioned I've always liked Seagate, so if it's about the same price as WD and you're open to switching, you might consider a 10TB Seagate instead. Still, it's likely that sticking with the same model will work just fine. Each manufacturer has its own issues, but WD isn't significantly worse than others.
