The new build isn't functioning correctly?
Hi guys, I set up my first PC but it isn't working well. The debug LEDs show the first two ones and they turn off completely, then the CPU and DRAM LEDs stay off for a second. After replacing the motherboard to rule out that issue, the same problems persist.
PC Specs
Mobo: MSI B850M Mortar WiFi
CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 7700
GPU: AMD RX 9060 XT 16GB
RAM: Patriot Viper Venom 32GB (2 x 16GB) 6000MT/s CL30
PSU: MSI Mag A650BN
Anyone know what these two LEDs indicate or what's causing the problem?
Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

Do all fans start spinning when turned on, and once the LEDs stop, do they keep doing so? If yes, have you left it idle to observe? Sometimes memory training on AM5 systems can be slow, so it might just need time to finish. Are you checking if the monitor is connected to the video card, even though I usually assume that?
The fans are still functioning properly once the LEDs stop working.
I'm planning to test it but wondering how long that will last?😅
It seems to be related to the graphics card😂
Training on the first boot may require up to 15 minutes, though it's often shorter; however, it can vary based on the board.
Optimal approach is to perform tests without a case, using only essential parts. Utilize the MB video feed since your CPU includes an integrated GPU, and limit the setup to a single RAM stick in the A2 slot.
I tried it for an hour but got nothing, even with extra RAM or another stick, same issue. I think the issue might be related to the CPU or RAM.
I suggest turning off XMP memory overclocking until it functions properly. Your RAM is rated at 6000MT/s, but this could be too high for reliable performance. Consider using 4800MT/s or the standard JEDEC speed. It may boot fine. If your motherboard supports four RAM slots, refer to the manual for suggested positions—typically slot A2 and B2.
I'm unable to proceed because my PC isn't booting, though I'm already in the right slot (A2 and B2).
