In truth I prefer 90fps all the time! I lower the game settings until I reach that level, and it usually makes me feel better. I dislike when a game caps at 60fps or struggles with CPU limits and can't maintain 90. Frame rate often matters more than graphics options in general.
Once you reach 60 frames per second, you can't drop to 30 frames per second again.
It varies by title; first-person shooters run smoothly at 60fps consistently. Titles like Assassin's Creed or modded Skyrim might feel better at 30fps with enhanced visuals.
