I'll attempt it when I return. Disappointing... A frustrating problem. It works, but bothersome.

There are solid reasons to avoid patching at all. The issues shouldn't break gameplay like they often do. Addressing minor bugs is fine, but fixing the entire game in a patch might be premature. Companies should focus on completing their projects before expecting fixes.

I recommend capturing a printout of fxaa followed by a screenshot of temporal smaa and smaa to compare them. Apart from the concerns you mentioned, I haven’t experienced any problems with watchdogs. I use 1080p quality with my 7850, ranging from 35fps to 40fps on average, with occasional spikes up to 60. Around 40-45 fps is typical when the temperature is higher.

Nowadays, we live in a connected world where sharing games with bugs was common. Back then, selling them wasn’t as easy, but with the internet everywhere, developers just release patches whenever they want.

It was a mix of laughter and thought about how much AAA games have changed. It seems like fun is becoming rare, with most titles feeling like familiar repeats rather than fresh experiences. I think this is the situation where the original choice still stands, even though it’s hard to find anything truly new.

The patch appears to have improved game performance, making it run smoother. I've recorded a video and it's now being uploaded. However, the graphics mod isn't working properly after the update, so you'll still need it if you want those effects. The mod is currently broken because of the patch, and I'm looking for an update.

The update file is just 58mb and didn't alter anything other than showing the game version on the start screen. The stuttering remains. I’m really hoping this was just a pre-release patch.

It was 14GB. Probably just re-downloaded the whole game for a reason.
