The laptop isn't producing audio through the HDMI port.
Hello, I’m using a Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 laptop and connecting it to my TV with an ordinary HDMI cable. I’ve tried several times, but the audio still doesn’t appear in the audio settings. Even though all drivers seem up to date, I’m not sure why this is happening. Could you help me out? Thank you!
HDMI link is linked with either Nvidia or Intel GPU? Did you unintentionally turn it off? Consider enabling both options.
Open Device Manager, locate hidden devices, and check the associated error codes.
The HDMI is linked to the sole HDMI port on the laptop, likely the Intel GPU under light usage. The menu referenced in the post isn’t visible at all. I might have been too general when checking devices; I checked the Device Manager but didn’t see the error code or identify the exact device. It could be a Realtek HD solution.
This refers to Intel's high-definition audio or NVIDIA's high-definition audio based on the connected GPU for the HDMI port.
Access the control panel or use Win+R to launch this control, then check which window it opens.
The Intel HD audio is hidden, indicating installation but no driver detection. It appears functional in the 'events' section.
It indicates the process began several hours ago today, followed by setup, but no status updates are shown. The general tab mentions the hardware isn't connected to the computer.
