My computer configuration is as follows:

CPU: Ryzen 7 2700x
Motherboard: Asus Prime X470-Pro ATX AM4
Memory: Corsair Vengeance 3200MHz (two 8GB sticks)
Storage: Samsung Evo 500GB SSD and Seagate Barracuda Compute 2TB HDD
Graphics Card: EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 8GB Black
Power Supply: Cooler Master MWE Gold 650W 80+ Gold Certified

I consistently experience crashes within virtually every game I attempt to play, and occasionally even in simpler titles like GMod. Furthermore, I frequently receive blue screen errors. My graphics settings are always set to the default levels provided by the game's benchmark tool when initially launched, and I don’t observe any screen tearing when games are running smoothly. However, these periods of stability are invariably followed by crashes, particularly with current-generation games like Squad and Modern Warfare, where I can typically only play for approximately ten minutes before being disconnected, sometimes encountering a black screen instead of my desktop. I have explored numerous troubleshooting steps in an effort to resolve these issues, and my BIOS shows that all components are functioning correctly – including RAM detection at the specified speed, drive health verification, and up-to-date drivers. I’m seeking assistance as I am unsure of what further steps to take.

Is this problem resolved? I experienced the identical difficulty; my challenge stemmed from increasing RAM speed beyond 2933 MHz. I unknowingly purchased two memory modules rated at 3200 MHz, but it seems the processor is only compatible with a lower speed of 2933 MHz.

Approximately fifteen BIOS revisions have been released for that motherboard specifically to support Windows 10. Which version of the BIOS is currently installed?

Within the device details section, a note indicates “American Megatrends Inc. 5406 – dated November 13, 2019.” A disclaimer is included: “Please forgive any inaccuracies; I am still developing my skills in this area.”

Are you installing a fresh operating system or utilizing a previously existing Windows installation?

The provided link does not seem to be the most current one, based on his reference. A more immediate connection to the newest BIOS update is available here:

I set up Windows when I assembled this computer in July, and I haven't reinstalled it since.

Yesterday, I recently installed the newest Bios. I just obtained the folder immediately, and it displays a (1) next to it—does that indicate I already possess this version?

Does the one with the date '11/25/2019' at the beginning of the document appear to be the correct one? I’m puzzled because my version is dated '11/13/2019', and it’s no longer present in the list. Furthermore, my motherboard's entry is also absent from the document now that I’ve reviewed it.
