I consistently experience game crashes across various titles—including Madden 20 NFL, PUBG, DotA 2, and For Honor—typically after around 10 to 15 minutes of gameplay. My screen freezes, but I can still move the mouse pointer. However, I cannot switch to another application using Alt-Tab or Ctrl+Alt+Del, and pressing Ctrl+Alt+Del forces a complete restart of my computer. I’ve checked for overheating problems by replacing the thermal paste on both my processor and graphics card, and temperatures are within acceptable limits while gaming.

My hardware specifications are as follows:

* Operating System: Windows 10 Home Single Language 64-bit
* Processor: Intel Core i5 2310 @ 2.90GHz Sandy Bridge 32nm Technology
* Memory: 8.00GB DDR3 RAM (9-9-9-24)
* Motherboard: Intel Corporation DH67CL (LGA1155)
* Graphics Card: 4096MB ATI Radeon RX 560 Series (ATI)
* Storage: 931GB Western Digital WDC WD10EARS-00MVWB0 ATA Device (SATA)
* Power Supply: Antec EarthWatts EA-500D (500W Max.)

The game may briefly pause when the graphics card reaches 0% usage, particularly as textures become more defined. This isn't truly a complete halt but rather a noticeable hiccup. A factor contributing to this is the laptop’s hard drive, which spins at 5400 revolutions per minute and has difficulty handling the demands of 1080p textures. Installing a Serial ATA III Solid State Drive would significantly improve performance. Occasionally, adjusting your computer’s energy settings to the highest level can also resolve this issue.

Alright, let’s proceed through the component list starting with memory. Examining your system configuration, I've identified a couple of points that warrant further attention. Specifically, I’m unsure whether you have one, two, or four RAM modules – could you please confirm this? Additionally, the stated speed of 665MHz seems unusual given your DDR3 1333 configuration, and the CAS latency is exceptionally high. I’d anticipate seeing timings like 9-9-9-13 or 9-9-9-14, not 24! This suggests your RAM might be operating in a compatibility mode or utilizing low power settings. However, aside from these timing and clock discrepancies, it appears you may be experiencing memory limitations during gameplay, potentially leading to an OOM crash as you indicated. I recommend utilizing Task Manager to monitor memory usage while playing.

My computer has four memory modules. Monitoring software indicates that these are operating at a frequency of 665 MHz, and MSI Afterburner reports approximately 6000 MB of RAM utilization during gameplay, fluctuating between 4000 and 6000 MB. It’s possible that memory constraints are contributing to performance issues.

Low-speed DDR3 at 665MHz is now significantly inadequate for modern RAM performance. Previously, this was a common speed for lower-tier DDR2 memory when it was still relatively new (around 2005, my initial PC utilized DDR2 at 667MHz).

Could you please specify the manufacturer of your RAM to investigate why it operates at this slow rate? Attempting to adjust the memory clock to 1333MHz within your BIOS may be possible, given your motherboard’s specifications. I suggest opting for desktop RAM with a minimum speed of 2400MHz for optimal gaming experiences.

Furthermore, what display resolution do you typically utilize? Playing at 1280x720 will yield the most favorable results for your system's performance – your motherboard and RAM are likely contributing to limitations.

My computer's memory speed is 1333 MHz, and I’m puzzled because Speccy indicates this value. I play games at a 1920 by 1080 resolution. Interestingly, my graphics card’s utilization occasionally decreases to zero during gameplay.

System Memory:
16.00GB DDR3 with dual-channel support operating at 665MHz (with timings of 9-9-9-24).
The memory consists of four individual modules.
Memory specifications and/or a product link?
