It was indeed the situation. Initially, I discovered that one of my memory modules was defective, so I swapped it out and that resolved some problems, such as Blue Screen of Death errors. However, the games continued to experience crashes; consequently, I upgraded my equipment by adding a solid-state drive, and now everything functions flawlessly. Many thanks!
