Hey, I'm facing an issue where, despite adjusting everything in my BIOS, my processor still doesn't reach 4.7GHz. I'm really trying to figure out the right steps to fix this and feel more confident. I've already talked to a few people on Reddit about it, but they haven't been able to give me a working solution.

Specs
Intel i7 8700K
ASRock Z370 Pro4
Corsair Vengence DDR4 RAM

I've tried several things:
- Overclocked to a very high number (5.4) just to confirm it wasn't underclocking, but it didn't work.
- Changed the voltage a lot, from -60 to 120, and then fixed it between 1.2 and 1.4.
- Set AVX from 5 to 0 (auto).
- Made sure settings are saved after restarts.
- Updated the BIOS.
- Disabled EIST/SpeedShift/Turbo Boost.
- I'm using Ubuntu 16.04, but the BIOS still doesn't show any higher setting.

The current target is 4.7GHz, but the BIOS only shows up to 5.4GHz. I know 4.7 is the maximum turbo boost, so maybe it's related? When I try to disable turbo boost, I can't set a multiplier and it just turns it back on.

Anyone have suggestions on how to resolve this?

As discussed earlier, I already possess this. I also noted at the conclusion that the picture displayed the previous iteration, yet it remained unchanged following the update.

You are unable to view this link. There are many people online who can access it, but it seems the issue isn't related to a specific chip since testing on three systems revealed the same problem. This suggests the configuration might be the cause.

In theory, the chip's maximum performance is usually around 5 to 5.1 GHZ, though this is less common. (silicon lottery)
Second, not all CPUs are equal; 4.7 might be the highest you can achieve.
Third, your motherboard and memory might not perform well with overclocking.

It's accurate, though I'm currently experiencing issues with three different i7 8700Ks. The BIOS indicates it's trying to be higher, but it appears locked. The motherboard and RAM should work, as there are videos showing similar configurations with the same setup.
