I tried to paste them directly from the USB. Cabinet (.cab) is a Microsoft-specific archive type, meaning the installer should handle it well. It probably holds the compressed driver files.

None of the .cab or .inf files you received are showing up in the installation, which might mean the driver problem isn’t the main issue.

It doesn't assist when the Windows setup can't detect the disk. You should be able to place or remove partitions directly within the installer. Did you select a driver in the setup when it reports no available disk? At that stage, you'll have to manually load the driver from the USB drive. Another possible problem is that the drive isn't initialized using GPT.

You can verify if the drive is GPT-formatted by checking its properties in Disk Management or using Command Prompt with the `diskpart` utility. Look for a GUID partition table and ensure it's properly initialized.
