It might make sense to keep the announcement about the release date under wraps until they’re confident it will meet expectations. This approach could help avoid frustrating fans who have seen so many failed AAA launches in 2014. Ultimately, waiting until the game is fully refined and ready should be viewed as a strong decision.

You're looking forward to something that might turn out this way.

It’s a really bad approach to planning the project. They could have scheduled a realistic deadline with extra time to ensure completion, then stayed committed. This isn’t acceptable.

I recognized the poor planning in my initial statement. That error has already occurred. The fix is to avoid releasing the game hastily, regardless of its current condition; instead, be truthful and delay the project until it meets a successful release standard. The good news is they opted for the latter approach. If this isn’t acceptable, support your decision financially.

I'm not planning to buy into this, I've been eagerly anticipating the game for over four years now, and I'm going to be extremely disappointed if it ever reaches PC. That doesn't sound right. I wouldn't have minded a single delay, but three postponements are completely unacceptable. We're finally reaching the stage where we can truly imagine playing again, and then another delay comes along. This isn't acceptable.
