I've been unable to start TF2 for a while. It appears the game launches as Team Fortress but then freezes. I've attached a log from Event Viewer if it might assist. The application name reported was hl2.exe, version 0.0.0.0, timestamp 0x58a7ebd6. The module name was unknown, version 0.0.0.0, timestamp 0x00000000. Late update but problem fixed by executing the DirectX installer in the installation directory =]
