Is this typical? I haven’t experienced anything like this in any other game before. I turned everything off except the background, Steam was running since I bought the game on Steam, but without it, the game won’t launch. I received this issue with the Kings Crossing main hall of Hogwarts.

Can I try to fix it? I’ve read that this game has a memory leak problem and it might cause crashes or a blue screen.

They exceed the basic standards for CPU and GPU, performing well at 720p low resolution, though not significantly below expectations for 1080p high. I had to look up specifications elsewhere. Work often involves gaming websites. A 1660s is much faster than a GTX 960 or 470, and a 3600 is better than an i5 6600 or i5 1400. For 720p...

This game places a significant demand on the GPU. Please share your complete PC specifications. Which graphics card are you running? The game needs a large amount of VRAM, particularly with its Ultra Textures feature. If you have a GPU with less than 12GB of VRAM, lowering the setting is strongly advised. Are you also adjusting any ray tracing options? RT consumes a considerable amount of VRAM, especially in this title—consider turning it off temporarily. Additionally, given Hogwarts Legacy supports DLSS 3, using an RTX 40 series GPU would be beneficial if your system meets the requirements. With DLSS 3, we can minimize the DX12 driver overhead and boost performance.

Edit: Did you mean to ask about system RAM or GPU VRAM?

Mid end system: Ryzen 5 3600, GTX 1660 Super with 6GB RAM, 16GB memory, Windows 10 installed on an HDD with available space. Most settings are low for graphics except foliage quality, which is set high. I play at 720p and 20fps to keep hardware cool. I'm very cautious about hardware performance, so feel free to ignore temperature questions. I use AMD FSR 2 Performance Mode (not ultra), and I don’t enable ray tracing, thinking it’s just a marketing trick. I also have a NVIDIA GPU, but it doesn’t support DLSS and isn’t visible in the game settings, so I stick with AMD. Additionally, the difference between Low and High texture quality isn’t noticeable; lowering it to Low caused slight stutters when loading doors.

Can reaching 100% RAM usage cause a blue screen on your PC? What are the implications for Windows 10? Your feedback would be greatly valued.

Your setup barely satisfies the basic needs of the game. It's significantly below ideal standards. You won't get much performance.

Consider improving your graphics card.
Increasing RAM to 32GB might help reduce stuttering.

Recommended/High suggests my CPU is a Ryzen 5 3600.
Minimum GPU required is 4GB, mine has 6GB.
Upgrading the system mainly depends on the graphics card.
Not likely to proceed.

The GPU is insufficient. The amount of VRAM isn't the main issue. The GPU's performance level matters most. Running the game on your PC without adequate performance won't work either. Return the game and request a refund.

"720p" and "20fps" are totally different. I'm giving you a laugh! Those numbers really confused me. Lol
