Sure, I've got version 1.16.5 ready. It's strange how it feels after the patch.

you're in the right place... it seems to run smoothly on that setup. my child is using it with a Ryzen 5 3400G and 16GB RAM on a decent but outdated motherboard, which is why things are a bit confusing for me.

Sure. I appreciate it. I've checked the Minecraft support and similar options, but no one seems to know. Maybe connecting Microsoft would help since they own Minecraft.

When I launch Minecraft 1.16 or newer, I encounter a red loading screen followed by my computer shutting down. I need to restart it and re-enter my account. This problem began after I disassembled my PC for modifications and reassembling it. Everything functioned normally before, but now it doesn’t. I’ve performed repairs and reinstalls multiple times, yet the issue persists. I’ve used a Microsoft account without success. The drive containing Minecraft stopped working after I reinstalled it, but I’m unsure how that relates to the shutdowns. I reached out to Mojang, who didn’t assist. I’m part of the Minecraft Discord community and haven’t found anyone else experiencing the same problem. Please share any troubleshooting tips or experiences if you know them.

Have you checked the system under stress tests for reliability? This might point to a hardware issue linked to removing components. Did you use an anti-static wristband or work on an anti-static mat?

On Intel systems, consider reinstalling your CPU.

You can try running your system under heavy load by simulating tasks like downloading large files, running multiple applications simultaneously, or using stress testing tools designed for computers. Make sure all components are properly grounded—avoid static mats or bands to prevent issues.
